Go On:: Please stay!!

Alright I'm just gonna put this out there--

I'm a big Matthew Perry fan!

Nothing Creepy or weird, or even over the top. I just think he is so funny. I know he is not everyone's cup of tea but the man knows how to bring the funny! I've noticed that there are two kinds of people in the world. Those who like Matthew Perry and those that don't. I've never met a so-so.His comedic timing, delivery, and facial expressions get me every time. I am aware that this is not all him, writers have a big hand in things, but they pay him for a reason folks!

While he is most well known for his roll as Chandler Bing on Friends, I however really started to folow him after his work on West Wing and Studio 60 {both of which are some of my favorite show...big arron sorkin fan}

And while his roll on West Wing was short lived and Studio 60 was only 21 {or so} episode I still followed.

 {bahhh}

So when they made a big to do about Matthew Perry returning to TV with Mr. Sunshine I was very excited to tune in. Although in the end it was not received well and I was sad that it flopped, yet if I'm being honest I really didn't like it myself. I said goodbye and realized I would probably be in my early 30's before I'd get to tune into a Matthew Perry show again.

 Boy was I wrong.

 Only a year later and here we are again. His new show is called Go On. Have you seen it? Can I dear say that this may be his golden ticket? I love this show and I've been afraid to say it because what if it gets canceled...lol. I don't want it to so you should all go watch!! The characters are great and keep up with the wit that pours out of Matthew. He starts out slightly pompus and then begins to realize that the death of his wife is affecting him and maybe if he lets help in it will in deed help him.

Another plus for this show is it's only 30 minutes. You know those shows that are 60 minutes and you think to yourselves...this really should only be 30 minutes and stop watching after 3 episodes? That problem doesn't exist here. So tune in on Tuesday nights at 9pm on NBC or catch it the next day in hulu.

Note:: You can watch all 4 episodes on hulu still for free:)

So go check it out and come back and tell me what you think-- That is if you are a Matthew Perry fan. Are you??

  2. I think a lot of it has to do with his writers. I was never a fan of Friends, but his movie roles were great and I loved Studio 60. I never saw Mr. Sunshine; it kind of slipped under the radar. Go On has me hooked; it kept me laughing and the premise is pretty good. I just got finished with Tuesdays episode; I work nights at DISH, so I rely on my Hopper DVR and the Primetime Anytime feature to record my network shows. It is a shame that his other shows didn’t get much of a chance, but I have hope for Go On; I don’t know how far they can take the group therapy premise, but I hope they get a few good seasons out of it.
